Junior defensive end Michael Larrow of Union was charged July 28 with simple assault and disorderly conduct, according to a police report. The woman, whose name was redacted, declined to press charges and the simple assault charge was dropped. The status of the disorderly conduct charge is not immediately known.

Coach Kyle Flood suspended him Friday for an unspecified violation of team rules. Larrow, 21, started five games last season before suffering an ankle injury. He was projected as a starter heading into training camp, but was demoted to the third team.

Flood refused to comment about Larrow on Monday. The Scarlet Knights play Tulane Saturday.
