Route 9 Reopens In Old Bridge

Route 9 in Old Bridge has reopened as cleanup continues from an overturned truck.

The right lane gets by on the southbound lanes because of an overturned truck that spilled a load of granite onto the roadway at Cindy Street.

Delays go back to just north of Route 516 (Old Bridge-Matawan Road),

NJ Transit says bus route Nos. 67 & 139 may experience delays as a result of the closure.
