Route 18 Dunkin’ Donuts held up at gunpoint
EAST BRUNSWICK — A Dunkin' Donuts along Route 18 was held up at gunpoint early Thanksgiving morning, police said.
A man wearing a scarf over his face demanded money from the restaurant on the northbound side of Route 18 near Edgeboro Road around 4:30 a.m, according to East Brunswick Police.
The employee handed over the cash, and the robber left on foot, heading north along the highway, police said.
Police said the robber was described as a light-skinned black male wearing a denim jacket, light blue jeans with work boots and a black wool hat.
