Route 1 Accident Kills One In South Brunswick

Police say one person is dead after a van carrying a family to the airport to return to China struck a
dump truck on Route 1 Thursday.

South Brunswick Police Sgt. Jim Ryan says 2 other family members were critically injured.

Ryan doesn't have any other details. The investigation into the crash kept only the shoulder available for most of the morning commute.

The van struck the dump truck around 4AM reports the Patch of South Brunswick.
