It’s been 2 years since the death of 74 year old Vera Pecoraro’s murder, and still Union County Prosecutors have no leads.

That’s why they you’re your help in solving this cold case.

According to nj.com authorities believe Ms. Pecoraro was killed on July 6th of 2012 and was discovered by her son Anthony, who stopped by her home to wish her a happy birthday.

After conducting an investigation, detectives believe Pecoraro was specifically targeted.

There were no signs of forced entry, and nothing was taken from the residence, had no known enemies, nor any defensive wounds found on the body.

Authorities said an anonymous donor has also provided a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, indictment and conviction in the case.

The reward is being offered through the Union County Crime Stoppers. Authorities said tips can be given anonymously by phone at (908) 654-TIPS (8477), via text message by texting “UCTIP” and a message to 274637 (CRIMES), or online at www.uctip.org.
