More details are coming out about how Rosie O'Donnell's daughter, Chelsea, wound up on the Jersey Shore.

The Asbury Park Press confirmed a tweet on Rosie O'Donnell's account that Steve Sheerer, the man that Chelsea, 17, was with when she was found in a home on Village Drive in Barnegat home faced drug charges including third-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and third-degree possession of heroin, as well as endangering the welfare of a child. He'd been convicted of drug charges including distribution in 2013.


According to the Press, Chelsea met Sheerer via Tinder and was hiding in the attic when police found her.


Dapuzzo reportedly became suspicious when Sheerer appeared nervous when he answered the door and hesitated before allowing Dapuzzo to enter the home. People reports that police traced Chelsea's cellphone to Sheeer's home and initially told police she was not there. TMZ reports police found no drugs in the home when they came for Chelsea.
