ROSELLE — The man wanted in connection with a shooting on Saturday has surrendered to police following a multi-state search.

Nathaniel Price, 25, was charged with murder and weapons offenses in the death of Tyquan Johnson, of Newark. Johnson's death was reported in the early morning hours of Saturday when he was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Following the shooting, an investigation was conducted by the Union County Homicide Task Force, the Roselle Police Department, the Union County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit, and Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit.

Price turned himself in to the Roselle police on Tuesday afternoon and was taken to the Union County Jail pending a detention hearing.
