Heroin addiction is a huge problem in New Jersey. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to help those addicted. Daniel Regan, a former drug user, has dedicated his life to helping others beat addiction.

Daniel's after-care and recovery foundation, CFC Loud N Clear is 100 percent non-profit. Everything raised goes right to helping those who are in need. This past weekend, Rock the Farm, a music and food truck festival helped raise money for the foundation. I was fortunate enough to be one of the MCs of the event.

It was truly a team effort as a I was joined by my producer Chris Swendeman, Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, some of my co-workers from Chasing News including Jessica Nutt, Diana Blass, Hank Flynn as well as Rich Robinson from Brookdale Public Radio. We all wanted to be part of such a special event and raise money for CFC.

There were so man amazing musical acts, including former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle, our favorite Jersey guitarist Matt O'Ree, Bon Jovi's own David Bryan, drummer Carmen Appice, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and former E Street band member Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez and many more! There were also over 20 food trucks with all different kinds of amazing food. Did I mention there were food trucks?
