The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released the list of hospitals on Tuesday.

There have been no cases of Ebola in New Jersey.

The government says the hospitals are deemed to have the staff, equipment and training to safely and effectively care for Ebola.

Newark's University Hospital and Hackensack University Medical Center will continue to handle suspected cases. Department of Health spokeswoman Donna Leusner says that a patient would be transferred to New Brunswick if an Ebola diagnosis was confirmed.
