Students at Ridgewood High School in Bergen County have until 7 a.m. Monday to delete naked pictures of themselves or others from their phones and computers. If they fail to do so, they could face child porn charges.

A number of female students sent explicit pictures to classmates, who managed to grab screen shots of the images and post them to Instagram.

The nude shots were sent using Snap Chat, a phone application that allows a user to see a picture for a few seconds before disappearing forever. There could be legal trouble for the students who saved the pictures, according to WABC.

"The police have been working closely with the Bergen County prosecutor's office and established this amnesty period," Ridgewood Schools Superintendent Dan Fishbein said. He also sent a letter home to parents and students.
