Leah, Ozzie, Percy and Selina Need Forever Homes [NJ PETS OF THE WEEK]
NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Sammy’s Hope to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes. Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.
Leah is desperately seeking comfort. At just 10-months-old, Leah has been in the shelter far too long. Diagnosed with an eye infection when she was just a baby, Leah doesn’t see very well and is easily scared by unexpected sounds and touches. This long-haired beauty needs a quiet home with a patient caregiver who can help her feel safe.
If you are interested in meeting Leah or fostering/adopting her, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can download a PDF copy of the adoption application form here or you can see more adoptable cats from Sammy’s Hope here.

Percy is an American Staffordshire terrier mix. We think he’s almost 4-years-old and is about 55 pounds. He likes to go with the volunteers for long walks and run and play in the dog runs. Percy’s friendly and loves treats. He enjoys cuddling and having his ears scratched and belly rubbed. Percy will be neutered and up-to-date with his shots before adoption.

Selina is the lone surviving member of her kitty family. She was found in the woods as a kitten and has been with us ever since. Selina is a sweet cat who enjoys being petted, but is on the shy side. She would do well in a mature household that could continue to nurture her with lots of kindness and attention. Selina loves to curl up for a snooze in cozy places and would love to find a forever home to call her own! She has tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all shots.
