"Come Back As Me" seems to have a message for Jon just days after Sambora remained on the sidelines from Bon Jovi after the band's return home to New Jersey and MetLife Stadium this past week.

The Asbury Park Press first posted a story about the song, which was posted Sunday to the YouTube page of user "torneye."

Some of the song's more defiant lyrics include:

“What do you want me to say, I gave you everything I could give. But everything just wasn't enough, so I just let live and live,” and

There's pain, there's pride, I carry it around like a knife in my side.In spite of it all, from all that you see
If I die tomorrow I'll come back as me

Sambora left Bon Jovi for "personal reasons" that have not been fully explained in APril when the band was in Calgary.  Jon Bon Jovi has said a number of times that Sambora is welcome to rejoin the band and it was hoped that the band's Meadowlands concerts would offer the perfect opportunity for the Woodbridge native to return.

However, a story posted to the website Radar Online said that “Jon won’t allow Richie to come back for that show,” according to unnamed source.  “And Jon won’t even pick up the phone and talk to Sambora. Sambora has tried to end this feud but Jon won’t respond.”
