Returning Sunshine And Breezy, Highs Near 50: Alan’s Weather Blog

The weekend weather turned out pretty nice. The weekend forecast, specifically for Sunday, did not. I thought we’d have rain and possibly some wet snow in Southern New Jersey, as far north as Route 195 or Route 1.

Feb. 20, 2012 NJ weather forecast

We had nothing remotely close.  There was some rain flirting with Cape May County earlier, but that’s going to be getting out of the way.

In fact, so will the clouds during the day.  With a brisk wind, it’ll become mostly sunny late morning into this afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 40s to near 50.

Clear skies tonight with temperatures into the 20s and 30s just about everywhere.  So we will have a cold night ahead.

Temperatures again for Tuesday, with sunshine followed by arriving clouds, will be once again in the upper 40s and low 50s during the afternoon.  It looks like it’ll be precipitation-free as far as I can tell.

That may not be the case Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.  There may be a few passing showers. Then, expect clouds and just some sun for Wednesday with temperatures well into the 50s with an outside chance of 60.
