Recently, a mom from Pennsylvania has been the topic of much discussion regarding NJ's extremely tough gun laws. Shaneen Allen was facing a three-year prison term because she was found with a licensed gun in her car, even though Allen did have it registered in PA. Luckily, Allen was allowed to enter  a pretrial intervention program. But now, a retired NJ teacher is facing a similar situation to Allen.

Gordon VanGilder is retired school teacher that is facing up to 10 years in prison for having an antique flintstock pistol in his car. VanGilder is facing the same charges for what was his unloaded classic firearm as he would if he were caught with a loaded .44 Magnum.

Learn more about VanGilder's case in the video above.
