The U.S Coast Guard, the Bordentown Fire Department and other agencies searched the Delaware River for the body of a man who jumped in the river Sunday morning.

New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. FC Gregory Williams said it is now a recovery operation for the man in his 30s  who jumped into the river off a boat anchored near the Bordentown Yacht Club around 5:30 a.m. He never resurfaced according to Willams.

The yacht club is located on Farnsworth Avenue along Crosswicks Creek where it meets  the Delaware River. It is also near the NJ Transit Bordentown light rail station.

New Jersey State Police divers and a helicopter, Bordentown Fire Department and divers for the Trenton Fire Department are all involved in the search according to police.
