‘Real Housewives’ husband loses driver’s license for 2 years

PATERSON, N.J. (AP) -- A "Real Housewives of New Jersey" husband has lost his driver's license for two years as he's preparing to head to federal prison for bankruptcy fraud.

A state judge on Thursday called Joe Giudice's (joo-DEE'-chayz) driving record the worst he's ever seen. He also fined Giudice the maximum $10,000. Giudice pleaded guilty in October to unlawful use of an ID and impersonation.

His 18-month sentence in that case will run concurrent with his 41-month federal sentence for bankruptcy fraud and failing to file taxes.

Giudice is an Italian citizen by birth who never became a U.S. citizen. He is expected to be deported once his prison term ends.

His wife, Teresa, is serving a 15-month sentence on the fraud charges. He will begin his sentence when hers is over.
