Rain Causing Airport, Commuter Delays on NJ Roadways [TRAFFIC]

At 8:56 a.m.: All lanes are closed and detoured on Route 40 in both directions West of 553/ Buck Road in Pittsgrove Township due to an accident and investigation.

At 8:34 a.m.: Drivers are facing a 3.5 mile delay due to volume on the Parkway northbound from North of Exit 82A - NJ 37 West to North of Toms River Toll Plaza in Toms River.

At 8:26 a.m.: Expect to encounter a 4.5-mile delay due to volume on the Parkway southbound from North of Exit 151 - Watchung St in Bloomfield to South of Exit 147 - Clinton Aveue in East Orange.

At 8:20 a.m.: All lanes are closed following an accident and subsequent investigation on Route 22 eastbound East of 519/ Saint James Street/ Uniontown Road in Pohatcong Township.

At 8:20 a.m.: Drivers on the Parkway local lanes northbound from South of Exit 117 - NJ 36 in Hazlet to North of Exit 120 - Laurence Harbor in Old Bridge are facing a four-mile delay due to volume. An earlier crash at milepost 124 has been cleared.

At 8:12 a.m.: Commuters can expect an 8-mile delay due to volume on the Parkway northbound from South of Colonia Service Area in Woodbridge to Exit 140 - US 22 in Union Twp. due to delays on US 22, according to the NJ Dept. of Transportation.
