Racism, xenophobia should have serious consequences
In the wake of a slew of recent false and fabricated reports of racist acts, the news of an anti-Islamic poster at Rutgers raised a red flag for me.
There is a concerted effort by a group of well-funded, well organized agitators to stir things up and to keep people anxious and afraid. It could be to gain more power and support for a number of different movements.
Racism and xenophobia in all of its forms, is abhorrent, but from what we've seen in recent months this is probably another devious fabrication.
Any of these acts should be met with quick and serious consequences.
