Rabid Raccoon Attacks Woman; Bites Her Face
A woman in Massachusetts was asleep in her bed when she was awoken by something furry on her face. At first she thought it was her cat, until it bit her on the lip and chin.
She opened her eyes and there was a raccoon on her face and it didn’t want to leave. The woman said it latched on and wouldn’t let go. The 73-year-old then struggled with the mighty beast for what she estimated to be two full minutes, but she couldn’t wrestle the raccoon off of her.
Finally, she grabbed a bedside phone and clocks the varmint. The raccoon finally relinquished its grip and the old woman chased it out of the room and called the police. The critter was caught and tests proved it had rabies, so the elderly woman is undergoing rabies shots. The raccoon was put down. So have fun dreaming about that one.
