Puppies get loose in Pennsylvania Turnpike crash
LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (AP) — Police had to round up some puppies after the van that was transporting them hit a truck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes between Willow Grove and Bensalem.
Police tell CBS Philly the impact caused several of the dogs to get out of their cages.
The eastbound lanes were closed while authorities rounded up the puppies.
Two people were taken to a hospital. Their conditions are not known.
It is not known if any of the puppies were injured.
