They’re still trying to ban alcohol in Point Beach after midnight. Mayor Vincent Barrella says “middle ground” is trying to be reached.

The Borough Council passed a new, amended version. What’s different is the per-person fee & how it is calculated. Why are they trying to fix something that isn’t broken? Is it really that big of a deal? It is to bar and restaurant owners who will lose business to neighboring towns. The silliness needs to stop. This is JERSEY for goodness sake, not Disney……
