Prostitution charges have been dropped against two former New Jersey college basketball players who played for Paterson Catholic.

NJ Advance Media reports Myles Mack, who was a guard for Rutgers, and former Seton Hall forward Fuquan Edwin were charged as part of a prostitution sweep in Passaic County last July.

A municipal judge in Paterson dropped the charges because the arresting officer did not appear at a legal hearing. The Passaic County Sheriff's Office has 60 days to refile the charges.

Mack was a captain for the Scarlet Knights and received his degree in May, according to his bio on the Rutgers website. Edwin graduated Seton Hall in 2014 and signed with the San Antonio Spurs.
