Promposals: Jersey boys do it with romance, creativity … and a budget

Can you believe it's prom season already? Can you believe how quickly these kids grow up?

Can you believe how much their crazy promposals are costing?

According to Visa, the average cost of a prom proposal these days is well over $300. $300! That's not the cost to go to the prom ... that's the cost to ask to! And for some teens we're talking closer to $1,000.

I found a couple of Jersey boys who did it right — DIY promposals that were creative, loving and energetic, and at least to me, don't look like they cost an arm and a leg. I've got to respect their initiative — the promposal world could learn a few things from our Garden State teens.
