This recipe comes from my old  producer  Chris who is crazy about gardening and growing his own food. He recently brought in some of his corn to share and everyone in the studio started trading recipes of how they prepare their Jersey Fresh corn.

Here's how Chris grills up his home grown corn. He says it's so simple and makes the corn tender and extremely flavorful. The butter browns slightly and marinates the corn as it cooks giving it a unique taste and eliminating the post-buttering process. I can't wait to try it myself!

You need:

Fresh New Jersey Sweet Corn

Butter

Salt & Pepper

Smoked Paprika (optional)

Tin Foil

How to put it together:

Set your grill to a medium-high heat while you shuck your fresh corn removing the husk and the silk. Add a large pat (or two) of butter to each side and wrap it up in tin foil making sure to seal the ends so the melted butter can't escape.

Grill over a medium-high flame and turn the corn every few minutes. It's ready to eat when each side is slightly browned. Once done, remove from grill and let the corn sit to cool slightly.

Unwrap and add salt and pepper to taste, or sprinkle with smoked paprika to add a smokey flavor. Oh, and there's nothing wrong with adding more butter too! Enjoy.
