Private Trump Cemetery Approved in Bedminster
Donald Trump has been given permission to make New Jersey his final resting place.
Officials in Bedminster tell The Star-Ledger that the township's land use board granted approval Sept. 12 for Trump to build a private cemetery on the grounds of the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.
Board secretary Trina Lindsey says the board voted to grant approval for a maximum of 10 grave sites, limited to Trump and members of his immediate family. A spokeswoman for the Trump organization declined comment to the newspaper.
The town had rejected other proposals from Trump over the years to build a larger cemetery or a mausoleum.
The agreement does not allow structures, mausoleums, crypts or tombs on the site and has other restrictions.
