A teacher at New Jersey State Prison in Trenton had a sexual relationship with an inmate, twice becoming pregnant, authorities allege.

Chong-Hwa Chang, 42 of Delran, was charged Jan. 29 with one count of sexual assault for the alleged 20 encounters, NJ Advance Media reports, citing a statement from the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.

Investigators found a journal in her home in which she detailed her relationship with the inmate, the prosecutor's office reportedly said. It also reportedly said officials found sexually explicit photos of Chang during her search, and that Chang admitted after her arrest to having sexual relations with the inmate at least 20 times.

It wasn't clear from the report whether Chang gave birth after getting pregnant.

The name of the inmate was not released.
