According to the zoo, she passed away from old age at 27.

Princess was known nationwide for her spot-on picks of Super Bowl winners,  including the Giants in Super Bowl 46 and last year's win by the Ravens.

In her final pick, Princess successfully chose the Broncos to top San Diego in the AFC divisional playoff.

The famous camel's love of graham crackers became part of her game prediction ritual. The zoo's general manager, John Bergmann, would write the names of the competing teams on his hands. The cracker Princess chose first indicated her pick for that game.

Before her residence at the zoo began, Princess was a pet of the late tobacco heiress Doris Duke, residing on the grounds of her New Jersey estate.
