Low turnout is expected across the state, and none of the four men running in the Republican primary for Senate has raised much money or been elected to public office.

Candidates Jeff Bell, Brian Goldberg, Richard Pezzullo, or Murray Sabrin would each be a significant underdog against incumbent Senator Cory Booker in November.

In fact, a Republican U.S. Senator has not been elected in New Jersey since 1972.

It's unusually busy on the Congressional side of things with three open seats. Because the incumbents chose not to run, the 1st, 3rd, and 12th Districts feature contested primaries.

Poll are open until 8 p.m.
