Preschoolers send NJ police hero a special thank you, for #BlueFriday

Every Friday Bill Spadea salutes a special NJ police officer that has gone above and beyond the call of duty with the hashtag #BlueFriday. The hashtag was created to celebrate the courage and bravery that our NJ police show everyday by putting their lives on the line during every tour of duty.

The weekly honoree is mentioned on air throughout Bill's broadcast and on our website as well. This week's honoree was Lyndhurst police officer Michael Keane. Officer Keane was one of the officers that responded to the Amtrak derailment in Philly.

After Bill's show went off air, we received a very special Tweet from some young students at the Shore Academy preschool in Point Pleasant.  The kids got together to send Officer Keane and all of NJ's police officer a very special thank you message for their efforts.
