Pork Roll Festival Comes to Hamilton
Is it pork roll or Taylor Ham? Whatever you call it, the meat that was invented by Hamilton native John Taylor in 1856 will be on display in several different variations in the Inaugural Pork Roll Festival!
The festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, at the Trenton Social bar and restaurant at 449 South Broad St. Among the festivities, will be music from several live bands including the aptly namedTrenton Pork Roll Blues Project.
There will also be a Miss Trenton Pork Roll Queen contest, where one person will be crowned Miss Trenton Pork Roll, complete with a sash and tiara. In addition, awards will be given to those who have submitted the best pork roll recipes.
