Pope Francis has started to make his way towards Philadelphia.

Two Marine Osprey helicopter have transported Pope Francis from Manhattan to JFK Airport where  Roman Catholic worshippers and church officials have gathered for a brief farewell. However, the plane is late taking off from JFK.

Early arrivals on SEPTA on the Trenton and West Trenton lines did not run into any problems. SEPTA spokesman Heather Redfern says 3,700 tickets were bought for the Croydon, Levittown and Cornwells Heights stations while another 4,700 were sold for Sunday. The Woodbourne station on the West Trenton line sold nearly as many tickets. Tickets are no longer available according to Redfern.

NJ Transit says a limited number of Papal Passes will be on sale Saturday and Sunday for the Atlantic City Line and the RiverLine to get into Philadelphia from the Trenton Transit Center, Florence and Pennsauken. Tickets purchased online do not require printed tickets but can be shown on mobile devices. Regular tickets, including monthly passes, MyTix and Family SuperSaver, are not valid on these days.

according to Philly.com. His first event is a private at Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul for invited guests. He will deliver the Mass in Latin, English and Spanish.
