Poll Problems Cropping Up in Spots Around US
Sporadic problems are being reported today at polling places around the country.
One voting machine in Pennsylvania lit up for Mitt Romney when a voter pressed the button for President Barack Obama. The machine was recalibrated. In Philadelphia, dozens of Republican inspectors were blocked from polling places, prompting party officials to obtain a court order providing them access in the heavily Democratic city.
Ohio also saw a court battle -- this one involving a lawsuit claiming the state-installed voting software could allow people unconnected to official election boards to manipulate ballots. A judge dismissed a lawsuit seeking to stop the software's use.
In Florida, a robocall glitch recycled calls intended for yesterday -- telling voters they had until "7 p.m. tomorrow" to vote.
