Question for you. Would you go to see Bruce Springsteen perform in concert multiple times – or do you feel he’s overhyped?

Either way, if you’re in the city tonight or have no plans – this might be a good time to head into the city to catch him.

He’ll be subbing for U2’s Bono in a commemoration of World Aids Day.

The concert will be taking place at the northern end of Times Square (between 46th and 47th Streets starting at around 7:30.

Bono’s attendance was curtailed due to a bicycle accident he’d been involved in some weeks ago.

Besides Bruce’s standing in for him will be Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, taking turns singing U2 songs. The show also will feature performances by special guests Kanye West and Carrie Underwood.

This is not the first time Bruce has shared the stage with U2. In fact, just this past week, Rolling Stone magazine picked U2’s “Songs of Innocence” as best album of the year while Springsteen’s “High Hopes” took second place.
