A driver can be charged in New Jersey if it's found that they violated a law intended to protect the public. If the driver is proven to have demonstrated recklessness and kills someone as a direct result of the passenger not wearing their seat belt, it can result in a second degree crime and up to 10 years in jail.

While the law is only punishable when proof of recklessness is present, it got Dennis and Michele discussing whether or not you wear your seat belt and why.

Dennis says he doesn't wear his seat belt. He's not comfortable wearing it and doesn't believe it is really going to make him that much safer. Michele on the other hand wears hers and doesn't have a problem wearing it.

How do you feel about it? Do you wear your seat belt or are you against any laws forcing you to wear it?
