Police: Three Men Stabbed on Montclair Street
Three men were hospitalized after being stabbed on a northern New Jersey street in what they say was an unprovoked attack.
The Star-Ledger reports the victims -- ages 18, 19 and 20 -- told police they were walking In Montclair late Monday night when their assailants jumped out of a minivan and attacked them.
The 18-year-old had three superficial stab wounds to his chest and back, while the 19-year-old had a stab wound to his left side and the 20-year-old had two stab wounds to his left shoulder and back. Another 19-year-old man who had been with the group was later found unharmed, but his jacket apparently was slashed during the attack.
The three injured victims were being treated at a hospital, but their wounds were not considered life-threatening.
