The shopper called police Jan. 10 after discovering her wallet to be missing as she was looking at greeting cards. Police reviewed surveillance footage and saw a child, approximately 5-years-old, reach into the cart, take the wallet, put 2 DVDs in the cart and hand the wallet to another woman, believed to be her mother.

The pair then walked over to a second woman and her child, who left behind a cart full of items as all four exited the store and drove off in a grey 4-door Lexus SUV.

Soon after, police said, the victim's credit cards were used at the Quaker Bridge Mall, several miles to the south on Route 1 in Lawrence Township.
