LUMBERTON — A fight at the Wawa on Route 38 escalated to the point where one man was stabbed and the man believed to have stabbed him is wanted by police.

According to the Lumberton Township Police Department officers responded to the store late on the night  on May 27. At that time they reported Wade Daniels, 38, whose last known address was the Travel Inn on Route 38, had gotten into a fight with a 30-year-old man from Westampton.

Police say during the fight Daniels used a knife to stab the man in his left arm. They said the man was "severely cut" and taken to a local trauma center where he was listed in stable condition after additional treatment.

Daniels, according to police, fled the scene before their arrival and is considered armed and dangerous as he is sought by police.

The Lumberton department is asking anyone with information about the incident to call 609-267-8300.
