Missing TCNJ Student Located
A student missing from the College of New Jersey in Ewing has been found safe.
TCNJ spokesman David Muha says Kyle Greco, 22,has been located safe and confirmed that a message on his Facebook page indicating he is "alive and well" was written by him. A text alert sent by New Jersey State Police said he was located "safe and unharmed."
In a post late Wednesday to his Facebook page he apologized for the "worry and pain" he has caused. "I would like to state for the record that I explained in detail to my parents that I would be leaving and then I calmly walked off on my way. Again I am perfectly fine. Thank you everyone for the kind words."
Greco was last seen on campus around 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon running away from his parents. “Kyle’s parents came to pick him up on campus, and they describe that he ran from their car and that he was distressed at the time he left,” Muha told the Times of Trenton. His car was still parked on campus.
Muha said that Greco is known to walk or jog several miles when he is upset.
Greco is a 2009 graduate of Schalick High School in Pittsgrove according to the News of Salem County
