Police still searching for missing Somerset County boy
Police continue their search for a missing Somerville boy believed to be with his biological parents.
Everett Streko, 8, was last seen on Thursday at his grandmother's home in Green Brook Township. The grandmother, who is Everett's legal guardian, noticed on Friday morning that both the boy and his biological mother, Amy Streko, were missing, along with all of Everett's personal belongings, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office. Amy Streko also lives at the home.
Jack Bennett, spokesman for the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office on Sunday morning said in an email that all three are still missing but had no new infomation
Police believe that the boy is with one or both of his parents which is in violation of a court order. They could possibly be traveling in either a white/blue Winnebago belonging to Everett's father, Michael Streko, with New Jersey license plate X72-FNK.or his mother's 2007 Grey 4-door Ford Focus, NJ license plate Y96-FHN.
A search of Michael Streko's Neptune City home showed that he moved out and was last seen there on Thursday afternoon.
Everett is described as four-feet tall, weighing approximately 60 pounds with green eyes, brown hair, and fair skin.
