New Jersey State Police have joined the search for a Bedminster man who went missing in June.

Roger Temple, age 44, was last seen on June 19 at his Bedminster home. He traveled the next day on public transportation to Hudson County and hasn't been seen since. Police  were able to trace his cell phone to Fort Lee in Bergen County before the phone's signal went dead.

Friends and relatives are offering a $2,000 reward according to the Patch of Basking Ridge. A Facebook page has also been set up to help locate Temple ans assure him he is "loved and missed."

Bedminster Police have been actively looking for Temple since then and had registered his disappearance with several missing persons data bases. The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit now involved in the search as well.


Temple is described as 5'8, 175 pounds with brown and gray hair and hazel eyes and He speaks with a British accent. He is an avid day hiker and carries a back pack. Hiking clubs and state park personnel have also been asked to assist in the search.
