The real-life Grinches apparently went into a Walgreens Pharmacy in Bayonne Saturday afternoon and claimed to be working for Toys for Tots, the charity that collects toys for needy children.

After the duo left with the toys, the store received a call from Walgreens' corporate office warning about similar scams.

It wasn't immediately known how many toys were stolen.

Police tell the Jersey Journal that the man was captured on store surveillance video. The couple allegedly left in a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee.
