Police find Passaic mother, daughter who were reported missing by dad

PASSAIC — A 32-year-old mother and her five-year-old daughter have been safely found days after the woman's husband reported them missing.

Cecilia Manzueta and Valentina Manzueta were found Tuesday afternoon, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said Wednesday.

The two had been reported missing Friday, prompting an investigation by the city police, the prosecutor's Abduction Response Team and the State Police.

Officials did not release other details.
