Police there eventually charged Blake Bills and Shayna Sykes of Macungie with offenses including driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

Authorities say the couple first commandeered a patrol car in Camden, N.J., after an officer made an unrelated traffic stop Tuesday. Police say the officer was struck as the suspects fled.

Authorities say Bills led police on a chase into Philadelphia, where officers managed to stop the vehicle and arrest him. But police say Sykes escaped and stole a Philadelphia cruiser.

After another chase, officers were able to stop and arrest her. It's unclear if they have lawyers.
