Can you really be this stupid?

According to the Hunterdon County Democrat, Police say Harold Williams of Plainfield went into a Route 22 ShopRite on August 29th and walked out with $321 of shampoo and razors without paying. ($321? How could you even carry that much?) Later that very same day, about 6pm, he walks back in and applies for a job. Manager Paul Lesperance recognizes him from earlier and calls the cops. I wonder if he was still filling out his application as the police walked in?

He was arrested, processed, and taken to Somerset County jail as he was unable to pay the bail. I suppose they wouldn't accept shampoo and razors in place of money.
