Piece of Boardwalk Ride Washes Ashore

Look what washed up on shore in the Ocean Beach II section of Toms River.

Beachgoers posted this photo to the Jersey Shore Hurricane News Facebook page Saturday after the ocean churned up what looks to be like a portion of a boardwalk ride.

Christine Iselborn Rooney is credited with snapping the shot.

According to the two-way news outlet, this is the third recovered object of a boardwalk ride reported at the Shore in less than a month.  Lifeguards in Seaside Park pulled a similar object from the water on June 22, and Bradshaw’s Beach lifeguards in Point Pleasant Beach removed one on June 30.
