Police in Florida are looking for a trucker who shot a New Jersey truck driver in a road rage incident Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Department said a trucker was tailgated by another truck after going through a construction zone on Interstate 10. The victim's truck appears to have been bumped by the other the truck, forcing him to drive into the woods. The other driver shot at the truck before driving off.

WOKV radio reported that there were at least three bullet wounds found on Guerrero's body.

The driver has been identified as George Guerrero of Perth Amboy by his niece Samantha Guerrero on a GoFundMe page set up to defray the cost of bringing his body home for a funeral.

"My uncle George Guerrero was a good hard working man, who always made sure everyone was taken care of. He left behind his only son and sister," Samantha wrote.

George's sister, Malissa Kunz, told WJXT-TV that she thinks the other driver is a coward.

"I think he is disgusting. He has sickened and hurt this entire family. He took someone that was loved, cared about, that loved people, loved life and he needs to turn himself in and face the fact the he killed somebody.”

On her Facebook page George's sister Dina Guerrero write, "I love u so much im really going to miss u so much."

The 44-year-old was with his constant travel companion, a dog named Aria. His cousin Blanca Clendenin told WJAX TV  she is planning a trip to Florida to pick the dog up from a Jacksonville rescue shelter.

The driver is described by police as a black male with a beard driving a dull-orange colored semi pulling a 53-foot white trailer. The truck may have damage on the passenger side. The Sheriff's Department has posted a $3,000 reward for information leading to the suspect.
