Unfortunately, no one answered last week's question correctly, as it was in 1975 when Elton John has "Island Girl", KC and the Sunshine Band told us "That's the Way (I Like It)" and The Silver Convention sang "Fly Robin Fly". All three songs were number one hits in November of 1975.  Better luck to all with this week's question.

Dateline- Bruce

This was the year Bruce Springsteen had "Dancing in the Dark", "Cover Me", and "Born in the U.S.A." .  All three were top ten hits, topping the charts in this year.

E-Mail Big Joe @ bigjoe@nj1015.com with the correct answer.  One correct answer will be picked, and the winner will receive a Big New Jersey 101.5 T-Shirt!  Make sure to include your name, address, and date of birth.

Friday, June 12th, I had the absolute pleasure and honor to host the "Welcome Home" Ceremony for the 50th Brigade Combat Team at the Sovereign Bank Arena. For the families of the 2,875 soldiers and airmen; this past Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, New Years, Easter, as well as birthdays, graduations, births, deaths, and family gathering were celebrated with a loved one serving far away from home. For that we thank you for your patience, support, love, and understanding. Friday, June 12th, belonged to you. To all of you New Jersey National Guard Soldiers of the 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, the heroes who have given up your jobs, your careers, your businesses, and most of all your families and loved ones, Thank You!  Words cannot express the depth of our gratitude, and on behalf of the great Garden State, thank you and welcome home! To all those who came out and supported the troops on Friday, June 12th, thank you. You made me very proud to be from New Jersey!
