Dean Peterson is a Brooklyn filmmaker who noticed something very peculiar about the stairs at the 36th Street subway station: One step is slightly higher than all the rest, resulting in constant tripping. He decided to make this rather amusing short film about it. How long has it been this way? God only knows. But now that it's gone up on YouTube it's caught the attention of someone at the MTA.

According to NBC4,

Crews went to the station Wednesday to block off the staircase in preparation for repairs.
