Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will perform together at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards and receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

This will be the first time the two have performed together since 2009 at Radio City Music Hall when they sang “With A Little Help From My Friends” and “Let’s Get Consciously Conscious”

Other performances announced for the 2014 Grammy Awards include nominees John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban and Sarah Bareilles, who will be joined by 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year Carole King. It will be the first time on the Grammys stage for Bareilles, Macklemore, Lewis, Musgraves and Starr.

There is also talk of the former Beatles performing Feb 7th on The Late Show with David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theatre where they first performed in America 50 years ago Feb 9th.

On that day, CBS will also air a special “Grammy Awards Salutes The Beatles” with top contemporary artists performing the songs they did on that day.
