The tour being unveiled Wednesday touches on numerous topics, including the history of Paterson as the nation’s first planned industrial city and the area’s immigrant and labor history.

It also addresses the surprise visitors may experience when they realize there is a spectacular waterfall in the heart of a densely packed city just 15 miles outside of Manhattan.

The audio tour is narrated by NBC “Nightly News” anchor and New Jersey native Brian Williams. It includes contributions from President Obama, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Junot Diaz.
